I really think Kelly and Cooper could plan any type of wedding and make it special and beautiful! In true 2020 fashion this was of course not their original wedding date, but then months after that it turned in to not their original venue either! Honestly though I’m glad this is how their wedding day went though because I couldn’t imagine anything more perfect or special :)

Aly + Matthew | A Cabin On The Lake Wedding in Lac Du Flameau, WI

This year as we know is all about changes! Originally I was supposed to be photographing another wedding this weekend, and Kari was going to take the lead on this one. But, when plans changed and I was free that meant Kari and I got to photograph this amazing day together!

I am so happy that I got to be there to experience this gorgeous wedding day! Does it get any better than a private residence on a lake?! We were dodging downpours all day, but that didn’t stop these two from having the best time and celebrating their marriage!

Jen + Max | Intimate Family Wedding A Rustic Cabin | Yuba, WI

I don’t actually get to photograph many intimate weddings each year, but oh my gosh do I want to do more especially after this one! This day will always be special to me just because of how meaningful and special Jen and Max made it for their family!

They took the weekend and came up from Chicago to spend the weekend at a cabin and just spend some quality time together. When they all got there they walked up a hill behind the cabin and found a beautiful spot to say their vows to each other while all the kids surrounded them and I think everyone was in tears :) This family let me document such a beautiful day for them and they made me feel part of the family as well and for that I will always be grateful for that opportunity!

Aisling + Mark | A Stunning Lakeside Backyard Wedding | Muskego, Wisconsin

I think the most important thing to remember from a wedding day are the experiences! On Aisling and Mark's wedding day it was 90 some degrees and super humid. Everyone was hot and sweaty but I don't think that is what anyone will remember. They will remember how gorgeous Aisling looked, how sweet their vows were, the amazing fun dance party, and the fireworks to end an incredible day!

Outdoor weddings are my absolute favorite weddings and this day had the perfect combination of relaxed backyard fun with elegant and sophisticated charm! Aisling and Mark planned and absolutely gorgeous and fun wedding day that not even extreme heat could ruin!
