Kelly + Cooper | A Classic Madison Engagement Session | Madison, Wisconsin

Kelly + Cooper | A Classic Madison Engagement Session | Madison, Wisconsin

To start 2020 off right I thought I should blog the adorable couple who will be my first wedding of this year, Kelly and Cooper! They chose classic downtown Madison locations which means we get a combination of beautiful architecture, lake views, and beautiful parks. That’s one of the things I really love about Madison is that you can get all of that in one session all within a small radius.

Cheers to the new year and I can’t wait to start my 2020 wedding season!!

Annie + Steve | Adorable Greenhouse Engagement Session | Monches Farm, WI

Annie + Steve | Adorable Greenhouse Engagement Session | Monches Farm, WI

When we first started talking about their engagement session and Annie mentioned how she’d love to find a cool greenhouse to use I knew I was going to like these two! I love getting to photograph at new locations and I knew that Monches Farm would be the perfect spot for these Annie and Steve. Their vintage greenhouse has so much character and charm and it just makes for a fun background!

As if the background wasn’t fun enough, Annie and Steve are just one of those couples that you just want to be friends with! They’re super fun and as you can tell super easy to photograph. I can’t wait for their wedding later on this year :)

Chelsea + Jordan | Sunrise Engagement Session at Indian Lake County Park | Cross Plains, WI

Chelsea + Jordan | Sunrise Engagement Session at Indian Lake County Park | Cross Plains, WI

I think it’s time to start the year off right by highlighting some more sessions and weddings!! I think Chelsea and Jordan’s engagement session is the perfect way to start. We met before the sun came up over the hills in Cross Plains and our early start time was totally worth it.

Not only are Chelsea and Jordan effortlessly adorable with each other but they were just so much fun to hang out with! And the fact that they wanted to include their adorable pup? Well that just makes me want to be best friends with them for life ;) I had actually never been out to Indian Lake County Park yet and I don’t actually do many sunrise sessions, but this is further proof that new locations and setting an early start time are totally worth it! Happy new year, everyone!!

Catie + Sam | Playful Sunset Engagement Session At Retzer Nature Center | Waukesha, WI

Catie + Sam | Playful Sunset Engagement Session At Retzer Nature Center | Waukesha, WI

I've been too busy with other work to blog lately, but I thought now would be a good time to revisit it so I can share more of this super sweet engagement session! Catie and Sam and just so adorable together and we had the perfect evening at the Retzer Nature Center!

These two were just so fun and playful and we just laughed the whole time! My favorite part of the session had to be when I asked Sam to give Catie a piggy back ride and I ended up with some images of what I lovingly called "the turtle." As you can see Catie and Sam and just super fun to hang out with and I cannot wait for their wedding next year!

Erica + Chris | A Fun and Snowy Engagement Session | Delafield, Wisconsin

Erica + Chris | A Fun and Snowy Engagement Session | Delafield, Wisconsin

We waited, and waited, and waited... for snow!! You would think that in Wisconsin that that we always have beautiful snowy winters that looks like a snow globe, right? But that was not the case this winter when we didn't have big snowfalls until February! Luckily though Erica and Chris were patient and it totally paid off! We met in Delafield and had such a great time wandering around Lapham Peak. This was actually my first time at that park and it's definitely somewhere I look forward to going back to! And we got to cross off one other cool first, it was Erica's first time walking on a frozen pond!
