Emily + Max | Downtown Madison Wedding at the Capitol

Emily + Max | Downtown Madison Wedding at the Capitol

When is a good time to catch up on blogging? Why during a quarantine of course! Seeing as how we won’t be seeing any new weddings for a while, lets see some more of the gorgeous weddings that I’ve been able to photograph over the last few years! I’m going to travel not too far back to 2019 to start with Emily and Max’s gorgeous downtown day in the heart of Madison. These two met while working at the Capitol so it’s only fitting that they said their “I do’s” there and then walked across the street to dine and party with the Capitol in the background.

Annie + Michael | A Nantucket Inspired Wedding at The Edgewater in Madison, Wisconsin

Here we are many months later, but I can still recall this wedding day like it was yesterday! First, it was one if the windiest wedding days I’ve ever had! Second, as you’ll see Annie, Michael, and Allison from Et Voila Events designed a beautiful space. And last but not least, even though I didn’t get to spend a full day with them, Annie and Michael we one of the sweetest and most genuine couples to work with! I always encourage my couples to be authentic and plan the day that they want and that’s exactly what they did.

What do you do when you met at UW but don’t live here anymore? You have all of your family and friends travel to Madison for the perfect downtown wedding experience and treat them to some uniquely Badger fun at the reception with the UW marching band! I absolutely love how unique their wedding day was with their ceremony in the balcony of the Orpheum! This was also a great spot for me to capture the packed dance floor :)

Brittney and Eric’s wedding day will always be one of my favorites!! These two are just so sweet, adorable, and thoughtful but then add in all of the friends and family and you’re in for a very fun time as you can see! Their wedding day was not only stunning, but it was full of so much joy and fun. A classic black and white color palette is not only timeless but adds a classic beauty to the day that I absolutely love!

Lynnea + Brian | A Classy Autumn Wedding at the Edgewater | Madison, WI

Lynnea + Brian | A Classy Autumn Wedding at the Edgewater | Madison, WI

I'm always so honored when a friend asks me to photograph their wedding and with Lynnea I was extra excited because I knew her day would be so gorgeous and just a super fun day all around! Their day was definitely all of that and more :) I think my favorite moment from the day was knowing that as a wedding day gift Brian had planned months in advance and gotten Lynnea another kitten so their little (haha, okay if you've seen him maybe not so little) furbaby, Bandit, could have a friend! When they finally got to talk about it after the ceremony Lynnea was just beaming getting to talk about her new kitten with her now husband!
