This year as we know is all about changes! Originally I was supposed to be photographing another wedding this weekend, and Kari was going to take the lead on this one. But, when plans changed and I was free that meant Kari and I got to photograph this amazing day together!

I am so happy that I got to be there to experience this gorgeous wedding day! Does it get any better than a private residence on a lake?! We were dodging downpours all day, but that didn’t stop these two from having the best time and celebrating their marriage!

Patty + Jayson | Northwoods Lake Wedding | North Lakeland Discovery Center

Today I’m going to go back and revisit one of my 2018 weddings because I never got a chance to blog it and it should definitely be shared :) Patty and Jayson are very active people who love the outdoors so they made sure to choose a venue that reflected them and who they are. The northwoods of Wisconsin is such a beautiful place and made for the perfect backdrop for their wedding!

Not only did we have a blast on their wedding day, but they really wanted to get up the following morning for some portraits on the lake canoeing! I absolutely love this and of course this was my favorite part of the weekend! It’s no secret that I love outdoor weddings and adventurous couples so for me this weekend was so much fun to photograph!!

Aisling + Mark | A Stunning Lakeside Backyard Wedding | Muskego, Wisconsin

I think the most important thing to remember from a wedding day are the experiences! On Aisling and Mark's wedding day it was 90 some degrees and super humid. Everyone was hot and sweaty but I don't think that is what anyone will remember. They will remember how gorgeous Aisling looked, how sweet their vows were, the amazing fun dance party, and the fireworks to end an incredible day!

Outdoor weddings are my absolute favorite weddings and this day had the perfect combination of relaxed backyard fun with elegant and sophisticated charm! Aisling and Mark planned and absolutely gorgeous and fun wedding day that not even extreme heat could ruin!
